A Pakistani soldier was killed during a military operation carried out by Pakistani forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwest of the country today.
"Based on intelligence information, Pakistani forces carried out a military operation in North Waziristan district of the region, during which they clashed with a group of terrorists, which resulted in the killing of a soldier," Xinhua news agency quoted the Pakistani army's public relations as saying in a statement, noting that a combing operation was launched to eliminate terrorists in the region. .
For years, Pakistani forces have continued their military operations to eliminate terrorists in the northern regions of the country, especially in North Waziristan.
