An event that attracts hundreds of cyclists to the Pfaffenwinkel

The 37th Pfaffenwinkel bike tour is also about cycling fun.

It has long been an integral part of the Pfaffenwinkel calendar of events: the "International Pfaffenwinkel Bike Tour".

After a two-year forced break due to Corona, it can take place again on July 17th for the 37th time with the linchpin in Peiting.

District - It is an event that attracts hundreds of cyclists to the Pfaffenwinkel every year: the traditional Pfaffenwinkel cycle tour with start and finish in Peiting.

The fans had to be patient for two years, but the Sunday after next they can pedal again and choose one of a total of four tours that offer great routes for fit cyclists, but also for families.

Since this is a bike tour and the idea of ​​competition is out of place here, there is neither timekeeping nor a mass start.

The bike must be in the correct condition, existing bike paths must be used.

A helmet should also be worn.

Group formations are not permitted.

The focus is on enjoying the shared experience with and in the cyclist family.

As in previous events, there are four routes to choose from with 160, 130, 80 and 55 kilometers.

Tours 1, 2 and 3 run together via Forst, Zellsee, Unterhausen, Deutenhausen, Obersöchering (catering), Spatzenhausen, Uffing and Rottenbuch.

Tour 3 (80 kilometers) ends in Rottenbuch in the direction of Peiting.

Tours 1 and 2 lead via Morgenbach, Wildsteig (catering), Wies, Fronreit and Prem to Lechbruck, where tour 2 (130 kilometers) separates and leads back to Peiting via Dessau, Burggen and Schongau.

Tour 1 (160 kilometers) continues from Lechbruck via Sameister, Loxhub and Bürstenstiel to Bernbeuren for the last refreshments and then via Rettenbach, Frankau, Krottenhill, Ingenried, Sachsenried, Schwabsoien, Schwabniederhofen and Altenstadt back to Peiting.

Tour 4 (55 kilometers) leads from Peiting to Schongau, Altenstadt, Schwabbruck, Ingenried and Tannenberg for refreshments in Bernbeuren and then via Dessau, Burggen and Schongau back to Peiting.

Even if everything is currently more expensive, the participants of the Pfaffenwinkel tour pay no more than in 2014 for the same catering. Tour 1: 20 euros, Tour 2: 17 euros, Tour 3: 13 euros, Tour 4: 10 euros.

At the finish in Peiting, the participants will again be provided with coffee, cake and grilled food.

Due to Corona, registration is only possible online - on the website www.pfaffenwinkelradrundfahrt.de Because the Peiting ice rink is closed during the summer for repair work, the triple gymnasium is used instead.
