For the two daughters and three grandchildren of Joséphine Legros, the brutal death of their dear "mamoune" on November 6, 2020 in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), mowed down by a 79-year-old motorist while she walked on a safe sidewalk, was avoidable.
They had even launched a petition two months after the tragedy for the establishment of a regular medical examination of fitness to drive for all elderly people.
