A burglar in Baden-Württemberg obviously felt very comfortable in the house he entered.

It literally felt like home.

Stimpfach-Randenweiler/Schwäbisch Hall - For many residents it is just a nightmare, some have already had to cope with it in their own four walls: a burglary by a stranger.

As a rule, burglars are looking for valuable objects that they can transport out of the house or apartment with as little effort as possible.

Sometimes examination papers are also the object of desire, as was the case recently with a school break-in.

The ultimate goal of all burglars is probably not to be caught.

So they usually try to get the criminal act over with and get out of there as quickly as possible.

In Baden-Württemberg, however, a burglar proceeded completely differently.

Baden-Württemberg: Burglars make themselves comfortable – he takes a shower and cooks something

On Wednesday evening, a man broke into a residential building in Stimpfach-Randenweiler by gaining unauthorized access through a window in the basement.

According to the responsible police in Aalen, the burglar was in no hurry.

Apparently he found the house very comfortable, so he made himself comfortable in one of the rooms.

There he calmly prepared a comfortable place to sleep.

However, he didn't want to go to bed without a shower, so he quickly got under the shower.

Freshly washed, the burglar got hungry.

After a quick look in the fridge, he decided on the Leberkäse that was there.

But the uninvited guest didn't want to enjoy the piece of Leberkas cold.

And so he must have thought to himself, "He's the man" - and stood at the stove to briefly sear the Leberkas.

That was the fate of the hungry burglar.

According to the police, two residents of the house were awakened by the loud goings-on of the burglar, and he was caught red-handed while standing at the stove.

The man managed to escape through the front door.

As the police stated after hearing the witnesses, the fugitive burglar is believed to be around 35 years old, about 1.75 meters tall and has light-colored hair.

A search for the man has so far been unsuccessful.
