The city of Wolfratshausen rejects the subsequent legalization of illegal buildings on the Isarspitz.

The mayor and city council show a clear edge when it comes to illegal buildings.
And that's good.
For years, the municipality consistently rejected all applications to be allowed to build on the plots of land on the Isarspitz, which are located in the so-called outer area.
To date there is no development plan for the area in the Weidach district - it was the district office that replaced the municipal agreement in 2014.
The authority in charge did this in good faith that the client would not abuse this leap of faith and would abide by the law.

Granting the state blessing to the three dodgers, who now enjoy nationwide fame, would send a fatal signal.
Yes, the demolition of three new houses is bitter for the tenants and means the outrageous destruction of valuable resources - but there is no alternative to demolition.
The sole responsibility for this rests with the owner, who studiously ignored permits interpreted at will and officially ordered construction freezes.
City of Wolfratshausen does not bow to political pressure
The Wolfratshausen town hall chief and the citizens' representatives also deserve respect because they do not bow to the political pressure of the Söder cabinet.
The state government, it is said, is doing everything it can to avoid being confronted with TV images in the upcoming state election campaign showing demolition excavators razing new single-family houses to the ground outside the gates of Munich.
For this reason, it was more than a polite request to the Loisachstadt to subsequently legalize the three properties.
But the municipality remains steadfast.
If, as announced by the district building authority, the ultima ratio comes about, Wolfratshausen should in future serve as a deterrent example for potential imitators throughout Bavaria with a view to illegal buildings.
So the whole bickering would at least have its good side.
