"The tragedy that hit us will forever mark the lives of our families. A wound that we will carry for a long time".
This was stated by Roberto Manosperti, maternal uncle of little Andrea Mirabile, the six-year-old boy who died of causes yet to be clarified in Sharm El Sheikh, where he was on vacation with his parents.
Antonio Mirabile, 46, who works at Anas, father of little Andrea, is always hospitalized in intensive care even if his conditions seem to improve.
"Fortunately, the state of my brother-in-law Antonio records slight improvements - adds Roberto Manosperti - The problem is that the low oxygenation value of the blood persists as soon as the oxygen mask is removed. A situation that does not allow him to take the first scheduled flight with my sister and return home ".
Instead, the baby's mother, Rosalia Manosperti, 4 months pregnant, is better off.
The causes of the child's death still remain a mystery.
"There is still no certainty about Andreuccio's death within just 36 hours from the manifestation of the first symptoms, as we do not have the time to know the autopsy report performed by the Egyptian doctors. As soon as the body will return to Italy we will endeavor to have another examination carried out by trusted doctors ".
Roberto Manosperti finally launches a new appeal to help family members stranded in Egypt.
"I appeal to all the institutions and competent authorities both to the local ones, the Municipality of Palermo and the Sicilian Region, and to the national ones so that everyone can do their best to bring home my sister, whom I want to remember is pregnant, and my brother-in-law after this terrible tragedy that hit them ".
The Farnesina has already been informed, as has the Italian Embassy in Egypt: all have assured that once the conditions of the father of the child still hospitalized have improved, the family will be transferred to Palermo at the expense of the state.
