A senior source reveals tonight (Thursday) that there is an intention by members of the Breslav Chassidut to visit the grave of Rabbi Nachman Mauman Bauman on Rosh Hashanah, even at the cost of life-threatening and a refusal by Ukraine to approve a mass entry into the compound.
"There are private organizations of such and other followers to travel there and whatever," he told Israel Today.
It should be noted that this is not about all the followers, and others said that "if there is fighting in the area we will not approach there. No one imagines that he will not go there, but not at any cost."
The remarks come against the background of the announcement by the Ukrainian ambassador to Israel, Yevgeny Korinchuk, who warned that if the war does not end by Rosh Hashanah, masses of Hasidim will not be allowed to mark Rabbi Nachman's grave in the city of Uman.

"Due to the fear for the lives and well-being of visitors to Ukraine and in light of the blatant Russian war in our country, despite all efforts, we can not ensure the safety of pilgrims and do not currently allow tourists and visitors to enter Ukraine," he said.

The mayor of Kishnav, Mendel Axelrod, met this week with Israeli Ambassador to Moldova Joel Leon and Keren Cohen-Gat, Director of the Euro-Asia Department at the Foreign Ministry, and the three discussed the absorption of thousands of followers over a short period, flight permits, security needs To Ukraine.
