Al-Hasakah-SANA
The branch of the Syrian Society for the Treatment and Care of Child Cancer in Al-Hasakah, under the supervision of the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, distributed clothes for children with cancer on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha.
The director of the association's branch, Kinan Bakro, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the initiative targeted 70 children with cancer, as Eid clothes were distributed in an entertaining atmosphere, pointing out that the initiative aims to plant a smile on the children's lips and reduce the financial burdens on their families.
For his part, Director of Social Affairs and Labor Ibrahim Khalaf indicated that the initiative comes within the framework of a comprehensive campaign implemented by charities to target children with cancer, children of the Institute for the Deaf and Dumb, and orphans.
The Syrian Society for Child Cancer Care and Treatment has two centers in the governorate, the first in the city of Hasaka and the second in the city of Qamishli, and they provide medical and treatment services to children with cancer who are registered in the association’s records.
