Exhibition: an air of New York at the Vichy festival

For its tenth year of existence, the Portrait(s) festival in Vichy, in the Allier, is gaining new momentum. A copious edition and beautiful discoveries for one of the beautiful photo appointments of the summer.


For ten years now, the Portrait(s) Festival in the spa town has attracted all the attention of the world every summer.

For this anniversary edition, thirteen exhibitions of beautiful signatures are presented outdoors and in the heart of the very elegant Palais des Congrès.

Where laughter and tears intersect, self-portraits, family photos, celebrities and total strangers.

Star of Portrait(s) this year: Meryl Meisler.

This bubbly little woman with short curly hair arrives from New York on purpose.

She dances between the solicitations in the middle of her exhibition.

Fany Dupêchez, artistic director of the festival since its inception, presents it as "

one of the best kept secrets of American photography

".

There is reason to be jubilant, this is the first personal exhibition in France of a photographer who has not finished telling her story.
