In the opinion of Finance Minister Danyal Bayaz, green-black in Baden-Württemberg must bury many of its goals from the coalition agreement for the time being.
The state government must now do everything possible to get through this difficult crisis “reasonably well” with the Ukraine war and corona pandemic, said the Green Party in a video by the Ministry of Finance in Stuttgart.
Stuttgart - It is important "that we also support the middle of society in view of the increased inflation".
In addition, because of the dangers for the economy in the double budget 2023/2024, one has to reckon with less tax revenue.
"All of this means that we have practically no money to implement projects from the coalition agreement."
The minister went on to say: "It bothers me, it annoys me." But the state government has to face up to reality: "We can't somehow make the household world how we like it." With a view to the chief talks with the other ministers and ministers about the budget, Bayaz said: "We have a lot of great ideas in our cabinet.
But given the financial situation, not much will be possible this time.
I often have to say no, although I actually want to say yes. dpa
