Rue du Rocher in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, at the headquarters of the Republic on the move, the hive has become a ghost ship.
Before the presidential election, more than a hundred employees, not to mention volunteers, were busy every day in the 2,800 m2 of premises inaugurated eight months earlier.
"It was boiling everywhere, we could feel the excitement on all floors," recalls one of them.
