Defense Minister Bnei Gantz met last night (Thursday) with the Palestinian Authority chairman in Ramallah. The meeting was held on the occasion of the Feast of Sacrifice, as well as for security and civilian coordination ahead of US President Biden's visit.
According to Gantz's announcement, the meeting was conducted in a good spirit and in a positive atmosphere.
The two discussed during their meeting the security and civilian challenges in the area.
The Minister of Defense updated Abu Mazen on the complexity of the coming period in Israel, and the two agreed to continue close security coordination and to avoid measures that would harm stability.
Defense Minister Ganz wished the chairman of the PA and the entire Palestinian public "Eid al-Adha Mubarak."
The two have already met twice since the formation of the government in June 2021 - August 2021 and December 2021. At the last meeting, they met at Ganz's home in Rosh HaAyin.
