The head of the Palestinian Water Authority, Mazen Ghoneim, confirmed that the occupation forces' attack on the water spring of Duma village, south of Nablus in the West Bank, and the destruction of parts of the pipes connecting to it, is a flagrant violation of the Palestinians' rights and depriving them of their water resources.
Ghoneim explained in a press statement, according to Wafa Agency, that this area is constantly exposed to attacks by the occupation forces and settlers with the aim of forcing Palestinians to leave their lands and imposing control over them in a move aimed at increasing the area
The settlements, indicating that the spring is a main source of water in the village and supports the steadfastness of its people in the face of the occupation's settlement plans.
It is noteworthy that last Tuesday, the occupation forces stormed the water spring, accompanied by a bulldozer, and destroyed water pipes and wreaked havoc at the site.
