The National Authority for Network Services granted an initial work permit to (e-cash) company on its application (my-e-cash) for electronic payment.
The Director of Regulation and Licensing at the Commission, Engineer Madeleine Al-Shelly, stated in a statement to SANA that the (My eCash) application provides the shopper with the ability to pay the value of goods or services available in online shopping stores or traditional stores from his bank account, whether using a payment card or direct bank account, through Through the company's secure electronic payment gateway.
Shelly pointed out that the authority asked the company to complete the necessary approvals and licenses from the Central Bank of Syria in preparation for granting it the final permit based on the controls and regulations for electronic applications operating on the network.
