Martyr Ibrahim Naama National Hospital in Jableh received a qualitative echo device and a variety of medicines and medical supplies within the framework of cooperation between the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, the World Health Organization and a number of charitable and civil societies to support the health sector.

The director of the hospital, Dr. Qusay Al-Khalil, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the device is an advanced “Eco-Color Doppler” device with all its attachments, and it enhances the hospital’s ability to provide health care to patients and saves costs on them, especially that the number of visitors for examinations as a result of acute pain and accidents ranges between 25 and 40 cases per day.

Al-Khalil pointed out that the medicines included a large amount of medical supplies that provide personal protection for the hospital staff, in addition to medicines including asthma sprays, antibiotics, ointments, pain relievers and emergency medicines.

For his part, the Director of Social Affairs and Labor Ammar Ahmed said in a similar statement that this support for the hospital comes within the continuous efforts to support the health sector through cooperation between the Directorate, the World Health Organization and charitable societies and the continuous endeavor to activate the role of civil society in supporting government efforts, including the health sector.
