With his Lamborghini, a man raced towards a pedestrian in Dortmund - the police then confiscated not only the hooligan's car.

Dortmund – To drive a super sports car of the caliber of a Ferrari or McLaren – that is the dream of many car fans.

However, not every driver is really up to the high-powered cars: a 29-year-old recently crashed an Audi R8 Spyder in front of the police.

Others, in turn, believe that there are no rules for drivers of such a noble projectile, as the driver of a rental Ferrari demonstrated in Cologne.

A Lamborghini driver also delivered a highly dangerous action in Dortmund.

As reported by the police, a 42-year-old stopped his black Lamborghini at a red light.

When it switched to green, he accelerated the super sports car so hard that a pedestrian still crossing had to jump to the side to avoid a collision.

A witness to the incident then called the police.

Lamborghini races towards pedestrians – police say driver “unreasonable”

The officials stopped the Lamborghini a little later - and checked the "unreasonable" driver.

Not only the driver's license of the 42-year-old, but also the Italian super sports car was secured.

The man is now facing criminal proceedings on suspicion of a prohibited motor vehicle race.

Lamborghini confiscated – one car is enough for a “prohibited motor vehicle race”.

What many do not know: For a "prohibited motor vehicle race" (§ 315d StGB) you do not necessarily need two or more vehicles.

There is also the accusation of the so-called “individual race”: According to the law, a “prohibited motor vehicle race” is also interpreted if a “motor vehicle driver moves at an inappropriate speed and grossly contrary to traffic and recklessly in order to reach the highest possible speed.”

In the end, however, the case against the driver, who had filmed the whole action himself, was dropped.
