New innkeepers, a renovation and a new name: the new tenants of the Geisenbrunn restaurant are Sandra Spirito and Michael Heid and want to open their "Geisenbrunn dining room" as soon as possible.

– New times are about to dawn in the Geisenbrunn restaurant.
The new tenants Michael Heid and Sandra Spirito (both 40) want to contribute to this.
During a press conference, Mayor Manfred Walter introduced the two on Tuesday in the town hall's meeting room.
However, it will be some time before they can get started.
As reported, Magdalena and Stjepan Madunic will end their guest performance at the Geisenbrunn restaurant at the end of August.
The young couple took over the traditional restaurant three years ago.
But Corona made the working conditions more difficult shortly after the start, so that the innkeepers decided to pull the ripcord.
In addition, the restaurant had significant problems with the neighborhood.
Not because of possible disturbances, rather it was the unpleasant smells that got out.
“In any case, we would have had to replace the ventilation.
After all, it's more than 40 years old and is now being replaced throughout the building by technology that meets today's standards," said Manfred Walter.
It is convenient that the change of hosts will now also allow the location to be closed for a short time.
"The problem will be the craftsmen who are difficult to get today," said Walter.
“But the building authority is working flat out to ensure that the location can be reopened as soon as possible.
It would be nice if the next Christmas celebrations could take place there again.” In the event that the new ventilation system has not yet been approved by then, the new tenants have already offered an alternative.
“We are currently still working with a catering company.
That's why we can accept appointments for celebrations and, if the kitchen isn't ready yet, help out with the catering," explained Heid.
Walter is firmly convinced that the municipality, as the owner of the Geisenbrunn leisure center, has struck gold with Sandra Spirito and Michael Heid as new tenants.
"We have found an experienced and highly motivated couple and I have great confidence in the two that things will go well," he enthused.
Held's gastronomic curriculum vitae is impressive.
Growing up in Gröbenzell, the trained chef gained experience, among other things, as kitchen manager in the Golden Bar in Munich, as executive sous chef in the Palatinate wine bar and as a ship's cook on the Balearic Islands, in Thailand and on the Seychelles.
Partner Sandra Spirito was born in Munich in 1982, trained as a retail clerk at Lodenfrey and currently runs a fashion and traditional costumes shop in Herrsching.
"But over the years I've also gained different experiences in gastronomy and I'm really looking forward to the new challenge." Her parents would take over the costume shop, she said.
In general, the future Speisewerk should continue to be “a meeting point for all clubs and for people of all ages, where you can feel comfortable and have fun,” promised Heid.
"In addition to high-quality country kitchen, we will also focus on Mediterranean cuisine."
