Tuntenhausen – A light aircraft crashed in the municipality of Tuntenhausen on Wednesday.
The pilot and co-pilot, including a man from the Miesbach district, were seriously injured in the accident.
At around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday (July 6), the police were informed that a plane had crashed near Tuntenhausen in an undeveloped area.
"Shortly thereafter, the first police patrol car crews found at the scene of the accident that the crashed aircraft was a light aircraft manufactured by Zlin Aviation, model Savage," explains the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria South.
“The co-pilot, an 80-year-old from the Miesbach district, had already been freed from the wreck.
The pilot, a 61-year-old from the Ebersberg district, was still trapped in the plane and had to be freed by fire brigade workers," the report said.
Both seriously injured were taken to hospitals by rescue helicopters.
