Given the assistance provided by joining the framework agreement for the establishment of the International Solar Energy Alliance in developing the skills and capabilities of Syrian electricity institutions, increasing reliance on renewable energy sources, building capacity of workers, increasing available training opportunities, and developing legislation and laws regulating the optimal use of renewable energies.
Today, President Bashar al-Assad issued Law No. (30) ratifying Syria's accession to the framework agreement for the establishment of the International Solar Energy Alliance.
Below is the text of the law:
Law No. (30)
President of the Republic
According to the provisions of the Constitution
And on what was approved by the People’s Assembly in its session held on 20/11/1443 AH;
Corresponding to 20-6-2022
Issues the following
Article (1) ratifies the accession of the Syrian Arab Republic to the framework agreement for the establishment of the International Solar Energy Alliance.
Article (2) This law shall be published in the Official Gazette.
