People attending food aid structures had to reduce their expenditure items devoted to heating (57%), petrol (53%), but even more less incompressible expenditure such as clothing (78%) and leisure ( 67%).
When they get help, 90% of people questioned say they wait to have access to fruit and vegetables and meat, 80% to starchy foods and dairy products, some 50% to sweet products and 40% to drinks. .

People in precarious situations expect food banks to have access to products with high nutritional value, which they cannot afford and which are expensive
