A Russian prosecutor requested seven years in prison on Thursday July 7 against an elected municipal official in Moscow accused of having disseminated "
false information
" about the soldiers taking part in the offensive in Ukraine, in a context of repression of any voice of opposition.
The prosecutor accused the elected official, Alexei Gorinov, of having "
misled a large number of people
", asking that he be sent to "
a penal colony for a period of seven years
", according to a correspondent of AFP present at the hearing.
