The long search has come to a happy end: Sultan Cifci, who runs her kebab stand called King Kebap in the commercial area, can stay here.
Holzkirchen – As reported, the German-Turkish woman has had her stand on Industriestraße, right next to the Hagebaumarkt, for 15 years.
But because this is being rebuilt, her lease was terminated.
There is no longer any room for them in the new Hagebau store, and they will also have to go in the later construction phase.
After all: In dialogue with Hagebaumarkt, she was given the opportunity to stay in her old position for as long as possible.
For this purpose, the notice period has been shortened.
"This allows us to make the best possible use of it," says Cifci.
She will continue to offer her lunchtime snack on Industriestraße until the end of July, maybe even until mid-August, when work on the outdoor facilities begins.
Holzkirchen: New kebab stand 500 meters away from the previous place
And then a new section begins in a new place, but not too far from the old one.
"I'm moving over to Raiffeisenstrasse," she reports.
"That's just 500 to 600 meters from here." The reason belongs to the municipal utilities.
There she will probably set up a container and set up her new King Kebap.

Last hope worked
In a way, this place was their last hope.
"I had several positions in mind and asked, but in the end there were only rejections," she says.
Then a customer pointed out to the municipal works that there was still space here.
And indeed, it worked.
If all goes as planned, Cifci aims to open in early October.
It should be a container, but maybe also a small hut.
"I don't know any more details yet.
I'm still planning," she says.
In any case, it shouldn't be a wagon, since the new stand needs a toilet.
Great relief for Sultan Cifci
Sultan Cifci's joy is great.
She is relieved that it worked.
That she has perspective.
Because the weeks and months she has spent worrying about losing her location and her customers have weighed heavily on her.

Of course, she is also a bit afraid of the restart, "but my customers have promised that they will come there too.
As the saying goes: no risk, no fun." And until then she wants to be there for her customers: "I take it with me every day." (
