Terrorism is raging in the city of Nablus, but only a week after a shooting attack at Yosef's tomb in which three Israelis were injured, including Samaria Brigadier General Roi Zweig, it turns out that an investigation into the attack that took place three months earlier and injured Israelis will be closed.
On April 10, Palestinian rioters broke into Yosef's tomb and burned it.
A day later, two Breslav followers entered the area, apparently to renovate the tomb.
When they entered the area, they encountered Palestinian gunmen who opened fire on them.
They managed to escape from the scene but were injured by the shooting.
The two joined an IDF force that provided them with primary care on the spot and they were transferred to a hospital for further treatment.

Recently, when he saw that nothing was progressing regarding the investigation of the case, Adv. Haim Bleicher, representing one of the Israelis, asked the commander-in-chief of the Central Judea, Fox, to arrest the terrorists:
"After our requests to the police for an update on the investigation of the incident, it was reported that the incident was being investigated by intelligence officials," he told the commander-in-chief.
"More than two months have passed since the incident and my client has not yet been informed of the arrest of suspects," Attorney Bleicher wrote.
It is clear to all that the need to neutralize the terrorists and bring them to justice, both because of their great dangers and because of the need for deterrence against perpetrators of terrorist acts, is essential.
Therefore, I will ask not to give up and continue with investigative efforts until the terrorists are neutralized or captured. "

But it turns out that not only did the investigation not yield suspects, but it was recently closed because intelligence agencies were unable to find the terrorists.
In response to Adv. Bleicher's appeal, Adv. Limor Meir, the Audit and Public Complaints Officer of the SJ District Headquarters, stated that If new information is received, the case will be opened accordingly. "
This means that the terrorists who carried out the attack will remain free - and armed, ready to launch another attack against Israeli civilians.
Advocate Haim Bleicher responded by saying: "The failure to capture the terrorists and close the case as a result raises a real concern about the existence of an effective deterrent against terrorism.
It is not possible to accept that the city of Nablus will become a refuge for terrorists who will carry out attacks, and will not pay any price for it.
We call on the police and security forces to take all measures to neutralize the terrorists in Nablus, even at the cost of harming the environment that is helping those terrorists.
It is a prize for terrorism. "
