Accused of domestic violence by Judith Chemla, Yohan Manca admits "an unforgivable gesture"

The director spoke after the accusations of his ex-girlfriend in order to deliver his version of the facts for which he was sentenced to eight months in prison suspended.


Judith Chemla posted, Monday, July 4, photos on Instagram to denounce the domestic violence of which she was the victim on the part of her former companion Yohan Manca.

Two days later, he decided to break the silence through a statement released on his social networks.

Faced with the scale of the case, he wanted to deliver his version of the facts that led to his eight-month suspended prison sentence.

“Not to diminish what happened but to provide some clarification,”

"I ask forgiveness"

"On July 3, 2021 in front of the Rond-Point theater, during a serious argument, I threw a phone at the mother of my child,"

he first said.

“I had learned that day, by reading messages, that my partner, mother of my first child (Judith Chemla and Yohan Manca have a daughter, editor’s note), and who was expecting a second, had betrayed me with a another man

," said the 32-year-old.

“The infidelity would have hurt me, but the doubt of not being the father of the child she was carrying made me completely lose control and have this unforgivable gesture”,

he confides.

Yohan Manca does not deny the facts and confirms being the cause of the injuries, adding that he

"felt instantly ashamed"

.

He wishes to add, however, that he

“never exercised physical violence on Judith, nor on other women.

It was the one time and the time too many

At the microphone of France Inter, Judith Chemla explained that she had an abortion.

"I fell in love with someone else, but nothing physically happened

," she said.

After the attack, and so that she does not go to file a complaint, her ex-companion allegedly accused her of

“breaking

up ” their family.

The actress will end up going to the police station the next day.

Wednesday, July 6, Judith Chemla took advantage of this speaking time on France Inter to appeal to women victims of domestic violence:

“Ladies, do not be afraid: never, never, never withdraw a complaint that you file.

Never remove it.

You will be intimidated.

I was intimidated, I was made to feel guilty.”
