After Corona confusion: Mittelstands-Union is back "on line" and has a lot to do

Not only new elections, but also new concepts were on the agenda of the Mittelstands-Union.
After the corona turmoil, you are now “on line” again.
District
– There was a lot to do for the members of the Freising/Pfaffenhofen district association of the Mittelstands-Union (MU) at the annual general meeting in Reichertshausen: new elections were announced, as secretary Sonja Aigner reports: “The election was necessary because many district associations were corona-related voted on completely different dates in the past two years or had not voted.” In order to get back on track here, the district association decided to set an election corridor for all district associations this year.
The new elections
Due to the surprising relocation of the former district chairman Uwe Kirst to Mexico in April, the provisional reshuffle of the board positions could now be "legalized" through the election: Uwe Menzel was confirmed as chairman of the board.
In the future, he will be supported as a deputy by the long-standing member and "veteran", master craftsman Anton Kürzinger from Pulling, as well as Simon Reddig from Au/Hallertau, Thomas Kimpfbeck from Freising and Joachim Reuter from Jetzendorf (Pfaffenhofen).

The entrepreneurs Andreas Adldinger, Manuel Mück and Wolfgang Schönigen acted as assessors, as did the FU chairwoman Silvia Bergmann and the state chairman of the Senior Citizens' Union, Franz Donauer.
New Concepts
According to the report, Uwe Menzel has "a lot planned" and has put the new term of office under the motto "Become visible!".
The district association is currently active on Facebook and Instagram.
According to Uwe Menzel, however, the district association “needs an additional website on which it would like to offer links to urgently needed offers with added value for entrepreneurs and medium-sized companies”.

Here Menzel presented "seminars and webinars on tax and social security law, workplace health promotion, AG specialist portals with knowledge databases, IHK and HWK events, trainee job exchanges, newsletters of the month and much more".
In the print media area, an image folder with a membership application for membership recruitment and public relations work is currently being published.

The family lion
In order to get in touch with medium-sized companies, the district association plans monthly company visits.
As already announced, the “Family Lion” campaign will start soon.
Companies that have a particularly family-friendly staff management are honored.
The district association has already created a necessary questionnaire, which is sent by e-mail to potential companies and can be filled out online.
The ceremonial awarding of the family lion is planned for October.
Furthermore, the "Forum Mittelstand", which was introduced by Uwe Kirst, will be continued, it was said at the meeting.
In addition, there should be business get-togethers at different locations under the motto "MU on site".
