President Joe Biden on Thursday honored 17 people with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Among the winners are Megan Rapinoe, star of the US soccer team;
Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history;
and Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington.
During a message, the US president said that he was very honored to honor this "extraordinary group of Americans."
