"extremely difficult"
traffic - in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
The peak of slowdowns is expected on the A7 motorway: the Lyon-Orange axis will be heavily congested between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

"In Île-de-France, traffic will be very dense towards the toll gates of the A6 and A10 motorways from the very beginning of the morning"
, predicts Bison smart, who strongly recommends avoiding the Saint-Arnoult- en-Yvelines between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. and the Orléans-Tours axis between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The A13 motorway may also experience traffic difficulties from mid-morning.
These could last until mid-afternoon.
Friday, a day already classified as red in Île-de-France and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, a peak of 785 km of traffic jams was recorded at 5:25 p.m.

The situation will be calmer on the entire road network on Sunday but difficulties will persist on the A7 in the Rhône valley in the North-South direction, according to Bison Futé.
