5,648 new verifications in the corona virus were discovered yesterday, out of 13,747 subjects - according to data from the Ministry of Health published this morning (Sunday).

Thus, the rate of positive subjects stands at 41.09%.

It also shows that the coefficient of infection dropped to 0.99 - for the first time below 1 in the current wave.

The number of serious patients is also declining and stands at 374, including 63 respirators.

Since the outbreak, 11,068 people have died from coronary heart disease complications, 35 of them in the past week.

Last week Corona projector Prof. Salman Zarqa said 95% of those hospitalized in the current wave are over the age of 60.

He added that "the continued increase in the number of patients will require us to examine the wearing of the mask in a closed place" and said that this will be discussed in the coming days.
