An indictment will be filed today (Sunday) against a 71-year-old Petah Tikva resident, for the murder of Yosef Yosefia last month in Ramat Gan.
The investigation began about three weeks ago in the morning, with the receipt of a report at the 100 hotline of the police about a shooting in Ramat Gan, as well as a message from the suspect that he had harmed the late Yosefia.
Bnei Brak police officers who arrived at the scene arrested him and seized the weapon used by him.
During the period, an indictment was also filed against a 70-year-old Hadera resident, on suspicion of providing the weapon to the suspect.

The investigation material revealed that the background was in fact a family dispute as a result of the divorce proceedings between the suspect's son and the deceased's daughter.
Last Wednesday, a prosecutor's statement was filed in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court against the murder suspect and his detention has been extended until today for the purpose of filing an indictment and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings. The suspect's name is not allowed to be published.
