At least 14 people were killed and four others seriously injured in a shooting at a bar in Soweto, a city near Johannesburg, on Saturday night, South African authorities said on Sunday.
A group of men who arrived by minibus allegedly opened fire on local customers, according to the police investigation, which has not yet determined the motives for this massacre.

The number of cartridges found at the scene indicates that there were several people who fired, explained the provincial police commissioner, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela, to The Associated Press information agency.

The injured - three of them in critical condition - were taken to the Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital in Johannesburg.
The Soweto bar shooting comes two weeks after 21 teenagers were found dead in a bar in the South African city of East London.
Authorities have not yet announced the cause of those deaths, but the teens were not shot or crushed in a stampede, according to authorities.
