Concerts, cabaret and poetry slam: cultural program in Wolfratshausen

The city of Wolfratshausen is presenting a new series of events: five open-air performances are part of the "cultural picnic in the countryside".

There are still tickets.

Wolfratshausen – Enjoy warm summer evenings in the open air – and listen to a colorful cultural programme: the town has organized several open-air events this month with the “Cultural Picnic in the Green” event series.

At three venues, the program includes a selection from cabaret, music to poetry slam.

Constanze Lindner will give the starting shot on Friday, July 15th.

"Miss Understanding" is the name of the program of the Bavarian cabaret artist, which she presents in the inner courtyard of the Bergkramerhof.

Lindner is "a bundle of energy" who has "rocked the cabaret scene" for years, writes the organizer.

In her stage program she finds that everything in her life - from the first cry to the last joke - has been misunderstood.

In the event of bad weather, the event will be moved to Café Herzblut at the Bergkramerhof.

Regular tickets cost 23 euros, reduced 19 euros.

Michael Fitz plays in Wolfratshausen - crime scene inspector with guitar and solo program

On Saturday, July 16, "Da Mo" (The Man) Michael Fitz will showcase his musical talent.

He is known throughout Germany as crime scene inspector Menzinger.

In his solo program, which he shows in the inner courtyard of the town hall, Fitz treats everything he can think of on the subject of “man” together with a guitar.

A few tickets are still available at a price of 21 euros (reduced 17).

The alternative location is the Tingel-Tangel at Hans-Urmiller-Ring 54.

Poetry slam in the garden of the city library - young poets compete in Wolfratshausen

Friends of contemporary poetry are looking forward to the poetry competition on Sunday, July 17, in the garden of the city library.

At the poetry slam, the audience decides who enters the final with their self-written texts - and who is allowed to compete for the audience's favor.

In addition to "heavyweights of the slam scene and old hands" there are newcomers to see.

Interested parties can register for the competition via an open list and present their own texts.

The poetry slam takes place in the foyer of the Loisachhalle when it rains.

Tickets are available for ten or eight euros.

Love - with a lot of feeling and a touch of sarcasm: Lucy van Kuhl plays in Wolfratshausen

Lucy van Kuhl's new program is about nothing but love.

Together with the "Es-Chord-Band" she will play in the garden of the city library on Thursday, July 21st.

The organizer announces that she sings about the many faces of love with irony, feeling and a pinch of sarcasm.

Lucy van Kuhl is not only the winner of the "Stuttgarter Besen 2021", but also the bearer of the "Executioner's Hatchet".

For 21 euros you can experience van Kuhl and the "Es-Chord-Band" live in the rafters' town - in bad weather in the foyer of the Loisachhalle.

For ten years (1999 to 2009), Holger Paetz was the main author of the Singspiel am Nockherberg in the state capital of Munich - and in Wolfratshausen focuses on climate change.

He demands: CO2 must shrink, and that in the brain, otherwise it spoils the good mood.

Tickets for the cabaret in the garden of the city library cost 23 euros.

Paetz visits Loisachstadt on Sunday, July 24th.

The alternative location is the Loisachhallen foyer.

Tickets are available online via München Ticket and at the provider's advance booking offices.

Tickets are also available from the Citizens' Office/Town Hall.
