This is Salvatore Petta, a gastroenterologist at the Polyclinic, savagely beaten by two men who caused him several fractures and a prognosis of 40 days.
The attack dates back to yesterday, when a woman asked to enter the ward outside the allowed hours to visit her hospitalized daughter.
Faced with the refusal from the doctors, the woman returned accompanied by her brother and her husband, who began to beat the doctor with kicks and punches.
One of the attackers, later identified by the police, also threw a desk.
