Söder visits the largest samba festival outside of Brazil – fans angry: "At least the women are pretty"

Samba and the CSU.
Not as far-fetched as it sounds at first glance.
At the weekend, CSU boss Söder honored himself at the Coburg Samba Festival.
Coburg - Like so many festivals, the Samba Festival in Coburg had to rest during the last two Corona years.
According to the city's website, the largest samba event outside of Brazil regularly attracts more than 150,000 visitors.
According to the organizers, well over 3,000 artists will take part in the colorful dance weekend.
And in the middle of it last weekend Markus Söder.
The conservative CSU politician is even the patron of the hustle and bustle.

Samba Festival in Coburg: Söder is the patron of the event for the third time
For the third time, Söder is the patron of the International Samba Festival in Coburg.
That's why he insisted on dropping by the Schlossplatz himself and saying a few words of welcome and snapshots.
A highlight for organizer Rolf Beyersdorf.
"We are very pleased to be able to welcome the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder to Coburg for the third time.
This is a great appreciation for the many artists of the International Samba Festival and the music scene as a whole.”
Söder himself wrote on his Instagram profile.
“The secret heart of Brazil beats in Upper Franconia today: visit to the Samba Festival in beautiful, historic Coburg.
A festival with rhythms, dance and sensational flair.
Brazil and Bavaria, that fits: We are cosmopolitan, hospitable and full of joie de vivre.” You could see from the pictures that he obviously liked posing between the scantily clad women in colorful costumes.
Söder himself
recently had to take criticism for his choice of clothes.
His outfit for receiving top politicians at the G7 summit left a lot to be desired for some followers.
Samba Festival in Coburg: Fans love Söder's Instagram post
The Instagram followers of the CSU politician are usually not used to such photos.
And so there was a lot of commenting and liking.
The "Like" heart under the post was clicked almost 4000 times (as of Monday, July 11, 4 p.m.).
He got a lot of envious comments about it.
"I'm definitely in the wrong job," commented one.
