Contacted by AFP, a spokeswoman for the Barcelona court confirmed that a provisional report had been issued by the forensic doctors but did not reveal its content.
This autopsy, carried out over the weekend, had been requested by Tchizé dos Santos, one of the daughters of the former Angolan president, who considered the death of her father "
suspicious
".
Jose Eduardo dos Santos, who led Angola with an iron fist from 1979 to 2017, died at the age of 79 in a clinic in Barcelona, where he had been hospitalized after suffering cardiac arrest on June 23.
