On the day of the event, designated gymnasiums in the 18 districts will hold free recreational and sports activities, including health talks, exercise demonstrations, etc. The public can collect "activity vouchers" from 8:30 a.m. on July 25.


In addition, on the day of the event, the LCSD's golf courses, sports climbing walls, golf facilities, public swimming pools, water sports centre boats, etc. will be open to the public free of charge. Leisure Link" and online bookings, each person can only book one free facility.

Free recreation and sports activities at designated gymnasiums in the 18 districts will be held on August 7 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The public can experience different types of recreational and sports activities in person, including health talks, exercise demonstrations, fitness center, parent-child/child/youth sports activities, as well as fun activities for the elderly and disabled.

Activity vouchers will be distributed at 8:30 am on 25 July at the Leisure Services Offices of the 18 Districts of the LCSD and designated venues.

The LCSD's "Sports for All Day" website and the "Leisure Culture++" Facebook page will broadcast live sports demonstrations from 2pm on the day of the event. The public can watch and practice physical exercise at home through online platforms.

It is worth noting that on the "Sports for All Day 2022", a number of recreational facilities under the LCSD will be open to the public for free use, and each person can only book one free facility.

The public can make reservations for recreational facilities on August 7 at the "Leisure Link" reservation counters in various districts and the online reservation system on a first-come, first-served basis from 7:00 a.m. on August 1.

As the public is expected to actively book the facilities, it may take longer for the public to access the online booking system during the morning peak hours.

Recreation and sports facilities open to the public for free on August 7 include:

Indoor recreational facilities: badminton court, tennis court, basketball court, netball court, volleyball court, squash court, table tennis table, American pool table, English pool table, sports climbing wall, bowling court, golf facilities, fitness room, activities studio, dance studio and cycling track

Outdoor recreational facilities: tennis courts, tennis driving ranges, lawn bowling courts, baseball driving ranges, sports climbing walls, archery ranges, rope nets and golf facilities (excluding camp facilities, sports fields, artificial grass courts and natural grass courts)

Public swimming pools (excluding Wan Chai Swimming Pool and Morse Park Swimming Pool and Kowloon Tsai Swimming Pool which are temporarily closed due to renovation works)



Water Sports Centre Boats (Chong Hing Water Sports Centre's recreational canoes, water bikes, sampans and colour boats are only available for free use by campers)


The authorities reminded that public swimming pools that are free to use on that day still do not require reservations, and citizens only need to queue up at the entrance of the swimming pool on that day, on a first-come, first-served basis.
