A member of the Military and Civilian Administration of the Zaporozhye region Vladimir Rogov announced that attack drones of the Ukrainian regime had dropped several missiles near the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.

Rogov said in an interview with the Russian "RT" channel today that attack drones belonging to the terrorists of Vladimir Zelensky dropped two 120-mm shells near the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, causing material damage but no injuries, noting that such strikes are aimed at intimidating workers.

Rogov added that the nuclear power plant itself is designed to withstand the effects of a plane crash with a full fuel tank, and therefore such Ukrainian attacks are intended to terrorize the plant's workers.

In turn, the Russian Defense Ministry described the attack by Ukrainian forces with drones on the buildings of the Zaporozhye station as a provocation organized by the western supervisors of these forces.

The head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, Lieutenant-General Mikhail Mezintsev, said in a statement today that neo-Nazis launched drones that dropped two 120-mm projectiles near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, and this is not the first vile provocation of the Kyiv regime at dangerous radiological facilities organized by Western supervisors.

Mizintsev noted that Western supervisors who achieve their criminal goals at the hands of the Ukrainian regime endanger millions of people in the country, calling on the international community, the United Nations, the International Atomic Energy Agency and other international organizations to influence the Ukrainian authorities as well as take effective measures to prevent provocations in potentially dangerous facilities.

The Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is the largest in Europe and produces a quarter of the electricity in Ukraine, with a capacity of about 6,000 megawatts, and consists of six power units. Last March, Russian forces took control of the facility.
