The Russian Northern Fleet today began anti-submarine tactical exercises in the Barents Sea in northern Russia.
The Russian "RT" channel quoted the fleet's press service as saying in a statement that the Yonga and Brest small anti-submarine ships of the Northern Fleet set off to the Barents Sea to carry out planned combat training activities as part of the group of search and attack ships, noting that the training includes the search for the supposed enemy submarines. and destroy it.
The exercises will be held in several stages, and anti-submarine aviation of the Air Force and the Air Defense of the Russian Northern Fleet will participate.
