Baerbock still clearly feels the consequences of Corona: “I can hardly do it now either”

Annalena Baerbock is still suffering from the consequences of her corona disease.
Even after a month she is apparently not completely fit again.
Berlin – Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock was infected with the corona virus more than a month ago.
She had to break off her trip abroad to Pakistan and developed clear symptoms.
Now the Green politician has made it public that she is still suffering from the clear consequences of the disease.
Baerbock reports on Corona consequences
"It really knocked me down, despite four vaccinations," reports Baerbock in an interview with
Stern
about her corona infection.
"I was flat for two weeks," she continues.
But even after that, the illness did not seem to be over.
According to her own statements, the politician is still suffering from the late effects of the infection - more than a month later.
"Even now I can hardly walk more than two floors," she says in the interview.
A consequence that many corona infected people complain about: Many people only regain their endurance and athletic performance after a long time.
For some, permanent damage is also possible as part of the so-called Long-Covid.
Corona infection in Baerbock: "I can only appeal"
Annalena Baerbock therefore says: "I can only appeal: Wear a mask where necessary and test, test, test".
Baerbock had tested positive for the corona virus during a visit to Pakistan in early June and had also developed clear flu symptoms.
She then canceled appointments and other stops on her trip.
Originally, she also wanted to visit Greece and Turkey.
Baerbock then flew back to Berlin under isolation conditions.
Baerbock's cabinet colleague Robert Habeck (Greens) tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday.
A spokeswoman for the Minister for Economic Affairs announced that both a rapid test and a PCR test were positive.
Habeck has cold symptoms and has gone into isolation.
