The Jerusalem Municipality has completed preparations for the President's visit, which will include changes in train traffic, the bus system and parking arrangements.
During the visit around the city, thousands of flags of the United States, Israel and the Jerusalem Municipality will be hung, along with the walls of the Old City and the String Bridge will be illuminated with country flags, as well as major squares in the city.
As for traffic disruptions, police have announced that Highway 1 will be closed today for about three to five hours ahead of the presidential visit.
The road will be blocked about an hour before the entourage leaves hermetically in both directions and alternative roads will be available to the public.

From noon, the entrance to the city of Jerusalem from the Ginot Sakharov junction to the Yad Vashem Museum, via Weizmann Street and Herzl Boulevard to the Holland junction, will be closed to traffic.
Towards the end of his visit to the museum, the streets - Holland Junction, Herzl Blvd., Shmuel Bate in both directions, will be closed to traffic and the ascent from Begin to Bate Road will be blocked.
In addition, the section of Bezeq-Herzog Road, Gaza Street, Paris Square, Keren Hayesod and King David Street, which will remain closed until Friday afternoon, will be closed.
