Until Thursday, twenty departments are placed on heat wave orange alert.
This free number - from a landline in mainland France - had already been activated on June 16, during the previous heat wave, by the former Minister of Health Brigitte Bourguignon.

During his time behind the RTL microphone, François Braun also mentioned a slight drop in the contamination curve: “
it seems that we are reaching the peak
” before warning: “
there are as many contaminations after the peak , than before the peak
”.
