2022-07-13T12:44:58.777Z

From 6:30 a.m. until the end of the night, TF1 and France 2 will celebrate the national holiday on their antennas.

As every year, the traditional military parade will take place on the Champs-Élysées, in Paris, to celebrate the national holiday.

And, like every year, TF1 and France 2 will cover the event as closely as possible.

France 2 will open its antenna at 6:30 a.m. with Julian Bugier, who will offer a special edition, in which Stéphane Bern, Laury Thilleman, Michel Drucker and Carole Gaessler will participate, positioned in strategic places.

So as not to lose anything of the 6,300 women and men who will parade, accompanied by 200 riders, 62 planes, 26 helicopters and 180 motorized vehicles.

But July 14 is not only celebrated in Paris.

Indeed, astronaut Thomas Pesquet will offer an exclusive report to viewers aboard the nuclear attack submarine Suffren, in the Mediterranean.

Lifted from a helicopter, he sailed for 18 hours, taking part in maneuvers with the crew.

Jean Baptiste Marteau will go to the Saint-Dizier military base for a Rafale flight, Damien Thévenot will be with the French patrol in Salon-de-Provence and Laurent Delahousse will go to the Percy military hospital to take news of injuries he encountered last year.

A concert at the Eiffel Tower

TF1 will offer six hours of live from 7 a.m.

Gilles Bouleau and Anne-Claire Coudray will reveal behind the scenes of the ceremony.

The journalist will perform a parachute jump at more than 2,000m while her colleague will fly over Paris aboard a helicopter and will be suspended in a basket 300m from the ground for a training exercise with the Military Civil Security.

Louis Bodin will be on board an Alpha Jet of the Patrouille de France, François-Xavier Ménage will notably climb to the top of the Arche de la Défense, with the alpine hunters who are among the first engaged on the borders of Ukraine.

The celebration will continue on France 2 at 9:10 p.m. with Le Concert de Paris, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, then the fireworks.

The Orchester national de France, the Choir and the Maîtrise de Radio France will participate in the event with renowned artists, including Gautier Capuçon.

Note that on the sidelines of the celebration, Emmanuel Macron will answer questions from Anne-Claire Coudray (TF1) and Caroline Roux (France 2) live from the Élysée, from 1:10 p.m.
