An American judge on Wednesday, July 13, rejected the request for a new trial made by actress Amber Heard in the context of her legal battle against her former husband Johnny Depp, whom she accuses of domestic violence, which he denies.
The actress recently lost a defamation lawsuit against the star.
She asked for the verdict to be quashed because of doubts about the identity of one of the jurors, but a magistrate at the court in Fairfax, near Washington, considered that she had "
suffered no prejudice
".
