The Kremlina refused on Wednesday July 13 to comment on US claims that Russia was preparing to buy hundreds of drones from Iran.

," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, when asked about the subject during his daily telephone briefing.
He assured that President Vladimir Putin would not negotiate the acquisition of such devices during his visit to Iran on July 19.
Used to spot enemy targets
Vladimir Putin is due to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian leader Ebrahim Raïssi in Tehran for talks on Syria in particular.
According to Russian Ambassador to Iran Levan Djagarian, quoted by Russian media, Vladimir Putin will also be received by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Tehran reacted on Tuesday to these allegations by saying that “
