On the second level, Gantz's party member, Michael Bitton, was involved in defending another pressure group: the agricultural lobby.
As chairman of the Economics Committee, he emphasizes that the maximum money will go from the citizens to the agricultural lobby. Eggs and milk in Israel are 100% -70% more expensive than abroad, fruits and vegetables are also very expensive, and families in Israel are falling below the cost of living.
Bitton fought them to preserve the power of the agricultural lobby.
On the third level, Gideon Saar is fighting to preserve and strengthen the power of the State Attorney's Office and the judiciary.
Not only did he prevent important reforms on the criminal, public and constitutional levels - these areas even went backwards, the rule of law became plasticine by prosecutors, lawyers and judges.
The fourth level is the Histadrut.
Under Saar as Minister of Justice and Yifat Shasha Bitton as Minister of Education, the status of the Histadrut and the Teachers' Union as non-transparent and destructive factors for the economy was strengthened.
Nothing has been done to curb the power of non-transparent blackmail bodies.
A new blue and white hope is actually the new Mapai, a loose alliance of pressure groups interested in plundering a larger share of the public coffers.
Neither the socialist left seeking equality, nor the right seeking economic elections should tolerate the alliance of the connected and the combined.
