Chen Nan and two other friends were engaged in water sports in Shek O yesterday (13th) afternoon, during which Chen Nan played "stand-up board"; the two friends rowed a double boat together.

They started from Stanley and went to Tuiwan via Tai Tam Bay. Unexpectedly, after the two-man boat arrived in Tuiwan, they found that Chen Nan, who was playing the upright board, was lost. They called the police at 3:40 pm for help.

Rescue personnel searched by sea and air, including fire boats, marine police and helicopters of the flight service team, and rushed to the scene to search and rescue. In the end, about 8 hours after the disappearance, that is, at 11:20 midnight yesterday, the searchers were about 100 meters away from Tutu Bay. At sea, the body of the missing Chen Nan was found.

The body of the deceased was sent to the Marine Police Base in Aberdeen by the Marine Police Ferry, and then sent to the mortuary by a black box truck.

The cause of death is to be determined after an autopsy.
