Biden's visit to Israel:
US President Joe Biden arrived at the President's House today (Thursday) and will meet with President Yitzhak Herzog in the near future.
He would later receive the "Presidential Medal" from Herzog.
Biden was received at the President's House by a Order of Honor and then signed the place's guest book.
"Buji my friend, thank you for all you and your family have done to deepen the strong bond between our two great countries," Biden wrote in the guest book.
"From our common Irish roots to our common love for Israel, I am united in heart and spirit. Who will give and our friendship will continue and continue to grow! This is the Irish part of the whole story, as my grandfather Fingen used to say. God bless you."
Biden will receive the award for being a "true friend of the State of Israel, the people of Israel and the Jewish people; for his long-standing and uncompromising commitment to Israel's security; for his contribution to deepening, establishing and building a strong and unreserved alliance between Israel and the United States;" And anti-Semitism all over the world. Dozens of tons of equipment were brought to the Mishkan for the construction of stages, spaces and other buildings.
A 25-meter reception screen was also erected, rising to a height of three meters.
The screen is actually a performance, with graphics that combine the Israeli flag and the United States flag, along which the children of the youth movements will stand with the flags of the countries and in the background will be played the song "I was born for peace" by Uzi Hitman.
For the special event, the Garden of the President's Garden was designed inspired by an Eretz Israel garden and in the general design, all seven species will be combined.
The Mishkan is decorated with flower arrangements in shades of orange and pink, combined with grapes, pomegranates, olive branches, figs and wildflowers.
For this purpose, more than 4,000 flowers of various species were woven, including a thousand roses, white calla lilies, dolphins, baldona, lisianthus, lion's muzzle and white bulbs.
During the ceremony, singers Yuval Dayan and Ren Danker will perform a special arrangement for the event for the songs "Lou Yehi" by the poet and composer Naomi Shemer, and "Let It Be" by the British rock band "The Beetles".
