In a cloak-and-dagger campaign, Pit Hladik wrote his second marriage proposal to his wife on the banner for the Perchtinger Stadlfest – and everyone can read it.

After several crises, the couple would like to symbolically strengthen their marriage with a second marriage.

Perchting – Since the weekend, some motorists who drive along Andechser Straße and see the two straw men in Perchting who are holding a sign that says “Spotzl mogst mi no moi heiradn?” have been surprised.

This application applies to Pit Hladik's (61) wife, Elke Hladik (63).

Bede are already married.

Even the first request was not ordinary.

"We always knew that we belonged together," says Hladik.

So in 1994, just six months after they met, he proposed to his wife: he put the ring under her pillow.

When she spotted him, he asked, "Do you want to?" On June 28 of the same year, they married in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii.

"We didn't want this typical wedding, for me it was perfect," says Elke Hladik.

Elke Hladik has been running the “Pur” gym in Starnberg together with her youngest son for four years.

Pit Hladik was a quality manager in the automotive industry and has been retired for two months.

In 2015, the couple went through a severe crisis.

"We both worked so much that you lose each other," explained Elke Hladik.

When the couple was about to separate, they reminded themselves that they actually belonged together.

Since then, the relationship has been better than ever.

"My husband fought so hard for our marriage," said Elke Hladik.

She wanted to marry a second time in order to symbolically strengthen the marriage.

The corona pandemic brought a second crisis.

The gym, like everyone else, had to close and the family was wracked with financial worries.

Elke Hladik said to her husband:

The wife was amazed at how romantic her husband can be

Hladik took care of it, told the Perchtingen fraternity about his plans.

So it happened that Hladik took the banner for the Stadlfest home with him the following weekend and wrote on the back before he put it back up.

His wife and three children knew nothing about it.

Elke Hladik became aware of the application via a Facebook photo.

"She couldn't believe it at first," said the proud husband.

The wife was amazed at how romantic her husband could be.

"That touched me incredibly deeply," she said - and of course she accepted.

During this year, Elke Hladik took care of her father, which was very emotionally demanding for her.

"I think my husband wanted to do something very special to get me out of the deep," says Elke Hladik.

The second wedding ring is currently being adjusted by a goldsmith.

The second wedding is scheduled to take place later this year.

The place is open, but: "We're also huge Bali fans," says Elke Hladik.
