Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that Washington and its allies are doing everything they can to prolong the fighting in Ukraine.
"Washington and Brussels are doing everything possible to ensure that the fighting continues to the last Ukrainian," Volodin was quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency as saying during a speech in the Chamber of Deputies of the liberated Lugansk People's Republic.
Volodin noted that future generations of Ukraine's citizens are being enslaved more and more with military loans and used as consumables.
For her part, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called on the US embassy in Kyiv to recognize that the weapons that Washington delivered to the Kyiv regime prolong the fighting and kill civilians in Ukraine.
"The US embassy in Ukraine forgot to add that Washington is transferring US weapons to the Kyiv regime, which leads to prolonging the conflict and killing civilians," Zakharova said via Telegram, commenting on the US diplomatic mission in Kyiv's call for its citizens to leave Ukraine immediately.
