Tonight (Saturday), the police arrested a resident of Lod on suspicion of shooting and injuring a 15-year-old resident of the place.
According to the police statement, Lod police officers opened an accelerated investigation this afternoon after reporting a shooting at a girl, apparently due to a family dispute.
Medical sources said that the minor was evacuated to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in a light condition.
As mentioned, police investigators at the Lod station arrested for questioning at the end of operational scans, a man a resident of Lod in his 30s, a relative of the girl, on suspicion of involvement in the incident.
The suspect will be brought to the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court tomorrow for a hearing, with a request to extend his detention, in accordance with the needs of the police investigation.
