The "Mallorca vs. Oktoberfest" edition is scheduled for July 31 in the "ZDF TV Garden".
DJ Robin & Schürze, who are currently causing heated discussions with their party hit "Layla", are also scheduled to perform there.
But for the appearance at Andrea Kiewel, the number now apparently has to be rewritten.
Mainz – A song seems to be occupying the whole country at the moment – and soon also the “ZDF-Fernsehgarten” (all news about the show with Andrea Kiewel): In “Layla” DJ Robin & Schürze sing about an apparently highly attractive brothel mother of the same name and did not land with it only the number one party hit of the year, but also made all sorts of headlines.
Since the text of the hit number is perceived as sexist, it can no longer be played at many folk festivals.
Accordingly, a defused version must also be produced for the appearance at Andrea Kiewel...
"Layla" will soon be heard in the "ZDF-Fernsehgarten" - DJ Robin & Schürze miss hit hit new text
In the "ZDF TV Garden" (all information about the show with Andrea Kiewel from Mainz) it's "Mallorca vs. Oktoberfest" on July 31st.
It goes without saying that DJ Robin & Schürze, who are currently dominating the charts with the Malle party hit "Layla", should not be missing there.
But there is a catch: the mood anthem is sexist due to its explicit text, according to the criticism - bans at various folk festivals followed.
In the ZDF program, too, one would like to avoid a shit storm and is said to have asked the interpreters to rewrite the number for the performance on Lerchenberg, as reported by
bild.de.
Otherwise, "Layla" will not be heard on July 31 in the "ZDF TV Garden" (all broadcast dates on ZDF 2022).
A source explained, "Any songs that are too ambiguous or use fecal language will not be shown on the show."
"Layla" gets new text - Ikke Hipgold fights against a ban on hit songs
Ikke Hipgold, who produced the song, even announced a child-friendly version of "Layla" to
rtl.de
: "We realize that there must be another version of the song.
We know that young children hear 'Layla' too.
That's why there has to be a children's version as well.” The reinterpretation should then be about a bitch – “Puff” should then become the word “Wuff” in the text, as the pop star already revealed.

However, the 45-year-old should not be quite as happy about a possible new version of “ZDF-Fernsehgarten”.
Only recently, Ikke Hipgold fought against the "Layla" ban at folk festivals and received some support from the Ballermann scene for his #freelayla campaign.
